Welcome to The Amity Track Club Website!

"A Passion for Track!"

We are a local youth track club located in the small town of Amity, Oregon and sanctioned by the USATF, seeking to educate and encourage young athletes to pursue their athletic goals and fitness by participating in track and field.  Our belief, and our experience, is that track and field is a true lifetime sport, enjoyed by the youngest kids to the oldest athletes!  We are passionate about track and field, and we seek to pass that passion on to our kids and our community.

Amity Track Club Hammer Ring Project

ATC has been well known for it's development of throwers.  Coach Randy Hayes has a passion for the area of throwing in track and field and, in particular, the hammer throw!  After years of making-do with borrowing space from area colleges in the Willamette Valley, Amity Track Club has begun the work to raise funds to build our very own hammer ring!  On land provided by Amity High School, our hammer area will round out an already well-developed throwing area.  Plans have been mapped out, approved and now we are ready to begin raising funds for the development of athletes from all over the area!  Amity Track Club has already trained several athletes who are now achieving success at Divisions I, II and III levels of collegiate track and field.  Notably, Amy Kraemer at Washington State University, Lelani and Kalea Salang at the Coast Guard Academy and Lindsay McShane at Oregon State University.  These athletes dedicated themselves to their sport and, despite the lack of consistent facility use due to availability constraints, trained with Coach Hayes to achieve success in the USATF program!  We want to make it possible for even more athletes in the Willamette Valley and surrounding areas to achieve the same success by providing consistent coaching at an excellent, and always available, facility!

If you are interested in contributing to the success of Willamette Valley athletes, and those of our own Amity Track Club, please consider giving a tax-deductible donation!  For more information please contact us at (971)237-5090 or [email protected]

Thank you!
